Our Chapels of Rest

We believe that when you come to visit your loved one in one of our Chapels of Rest, you should expect a high standard of care and complete attention to detail. Each chapel has a hand made wooden catafalque upon which the coffin rests, and each chapel is tastefully furnished and comfortable. Gentle and appropriate music is piped through our chapels at a low volume, but may be switched off if you so desire.

Our Dawley Bank funeral home chapels were extended in 2006, and we now offer six private and fully dedicated Chapels of Rest, all of which are beautifully furnished and offer you the utmost in peace and privacy.

We have a fine service chapel available to you, where funeral services of up to twenty attendees may be held. The coffin rests with dignity upon our hand made wooden catafalque, and there is a lectern behind which the clergy, or celebrant, stands to lead the service. All of this within our warm surroundings with comfortable seating - see our photograph for an impression of how it all looks, or please arrange to visit us and see everything for yourself.

Since it opened in April 2014, we are pleased to offer two elegant and peaceful chapels at our Madeley funeral home in Court Street, Madeley - again, affording you privacy and comfort in beautiful surroundings.

Quality of presentation is extremely important to us and we take great pride in maintaining our high standards.

We have, over the years, invested heavily in developing this area of our facility; all loved ones are afforded these facilities which include hairdressing and cosmetics. We are also a teaching institution, with a fully accredited tutor within the team.

At Dawley Bank, we also offer a private Service Chapel, where funeral, or memorial, services up to 20 people may be accommodated in comfort, prior to the committal.
